I was a fan of Volga automotives before until the time that they stopped their production in 2007. GAZ-3111 has been the model that I have always wanted. Even though they say that some of the details had to be borrowed from the old models, I see it differently.
I look at it as a culmination of the old models put in to one model. I have been looking for any available cars of this kind but due to the company not producing the car anymore, it is hard to get one, even the second hand cars. I had an opportunity to have a Russian visa and was able to visit the country.
While I was able to see some being drove in the streets, I failed to find one that was for sale. It was almost a sad trip for me since I was not able to really get what I wanted, at least until the top gun adventure tour. I was able to experience to fly mig fighter jet and was able to momentarily forget the failure that I just experienced. But still, I am looking for some ways to get this kind of model, even if it meant having it repaired on my expense.
